Berg takes home first Field Athlete of the Week honor

Burnsville, Minn. – After the opening weekend of the regular season, Northern State thrower Tanner Berg was honored as the NSIC Field Athlete of the Week. Berg and the Wolves competed from the USD Early Bird Meet.
NSIC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week – Tanner Berg (Throws, Gr., Watertown, S.D. / Watertown HS)
– Opened the outdoor season winning the hammer throw at the USD Early Bird Meet
– His throw of 214-4 (65.32m) was a provisional mark and ranks first in NCAA Division II this season
– Also finished eighth in the shot put, tossing 51-5.75 (15.69m), which ranks fourth in the NSIC this season
