Berg selected to compete at NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships

Indianapolis (NSUWolves.com) — The NCAA have released the selected athletes for the Indoor Track and Field Championships scheduled for March 11-12 in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Watertown native Tanner Berg, will open the championships for Northern State in the weight throw at 2:25 p.m. on Friday, March 11. The Wolves graduate student holds the top mark in the NCAA heading into the week, a school record 22.58m toss. He is a 3-time NSIC Champion and 2-time All-American in the event.

Berg joins two other NSU athletes at the event.  Pittsburg State University will host the Indoor Track and Field Championships from the Robert W. Plaster Center.
