Berg Racks up Accolades from SDSU

Brookings, S.D. (NSUWolves.com) – Northern State University senior Tanner Berg competed in the weight for the men’s track and field team from the Jim Emmerich Invite on Saturday. Berg won the event with a brand new school record.
Berg threw 22.58m on his sixth and final toss of the day, besting his own school record. The Watertown native had previously set the record in 2021 with a 22.55m toss. He extended his nation leading best throw at the Division II level and ranks in the top-3 nationally at the Division I level.
Northern State will resume competition next Saturday, January 29th at Mount Marty College.
