Berg named NSIC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week, again

BURSNVILLE, M.N. (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern State University men’s track and field team swept the weekly league awards. Watertown native Tanner Berg was named the NSIC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week.
Won his third straight weight throw title as he took first place, competing against some of the top talent at the Division II level
– Broke his own school record, throwing 71-6.25 (21.80m), which is an NCAA automatic qualifying mark
– Added an eighth place finish in the shot put (16.46m) and sits atop the NSIC standings in both events
– Earned NSIC Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week
NSU’s Terry Towah was also named the NSIC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week.
