Berg honored by the USTFCCCA

(NSUWolves.com) — The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced today the indoor all-region recipients. Tanner Berg and Shanice Burrell were honored by the organization for Northern State. The pair were honored in the weight throw and 60m hurdles.

Berg holds the top mark in the NCAA heading into the week, a school record 22.58m toss. He is a 3-time NSIC Champion and 2-time All-American in the event.

Burrell enters the week with the tenth fastest time in NCAA Division II, a school record mark of 8.58. Burrell finished as the NSIC runner-up at the league championships.

The pair will compete at the NCAA Indoor Championships this Friday and Saturday in Pittsburg, Kansas.
