Benike, Kranz and Vincent compete at 2021 All-Star Games

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. ( — White River’s Caelyn Valandra-Prue scored 20 and Vermillions Lexi Plitzuwiet added 19 in the white team’s 106-75 win over the blue at the 2021 South Dakota Girls All-Star Game held at the Sanford Pentagon. Castlewood’s Alayna Benike played 21 minutes for the white team, did not score but grabbed four boards, and dished one assist. St. Thomas More’s Haleigh Timmer led the blue team with 15 points. Waverly/South Shore’s Emily Kranz played 18 minutes, added 10 points, and grabbed five boards.

In the boys’ game, Winner’s Brady Fritz and Dell Rapid’s Colin Rentz each scored 16 in the blue team’s 99-94 win over the white team. Sioux Valley’s Kenton Vincent played 20 minutes, added four points, grabbed five boards, and dished five assists for the blue. Jakob Dobney of Vermillion led the scoring for the white team with 15 points. Mitchell’s Zane Alm came away with a double-double, 10 points, and 16 boards.
