BBB: Second half comeback wasn’t enough as Webster falls to Waverly/South Shore

WAVERLY, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — A second-half comeback wasn’t enough as Webster fell to Waverly South Shore 64-63 in high school boys basketball Tuesday night.
As heard on New Country KS93, down 38-27 at the half, the Bearcats would outscore the Coyotes 36-26 in the second half. Led by a 31 point performance by Webster’s Jacob Pareboom who tallied five three-pointers in the game. Jaydon Keller would add 15 and Jacob Keller with 13.
The Coyotes were lead by Austin Applehof and Tanner Fonder who scored 22 points each. New Country KS93 and Watertown Taco John’s Athlete of the Week Carter Comes added 9 points.
Waverly/South Shore extends their winning streak to six games, improves to 8-3 on the year, and faces Estelline/Hendricks on January 30th. Webster falls to 1-9 and comes home to face Hamlin on January 28th.
