BBB: Number one DeSmet defeats number two Platte-Geddes

MITCHELL, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Number one DeSmet defeated number two Platte-Geddes Saturday night at the Hanson Classic in high school boys basketball by a final of 64-51.
As heard on New Country KS93, Kalen Garry would lead the Bulldogs with 21 points on nine of 13 shooting from the field, and three of six from three-point land. Garry would also grab nine boards. Ethan McCune added 15 points on five of seven shooting from the field, four of six from the three-point arc, and would steal the ball once. Cody Cavanaugh would contribute eight.
DeSmet pushes their winning streak to seven games.
Caden Foxley would lead Platte-Geddes with 15 points. Kelby VanDerWerff would add 14.
DeSmet improves to 11-1 and comes home to face Colman-Egan on January 28th. Platte-Geddes calls to 8-1 and comes home to face Parkston on January 26th.
