BBB GBB: Arrows fall at Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Watertown Arrow girls and boys basketball teams would both fall to Harrisburg on Friday.

The Tiger girls would down the Arrows 53-38. Olivia Corey would lead the Arrows with 13 points on five of eight shooting from the field, two of three from three-point land, and grabbed four boards. Maggie Heesch would add eight and Abby Bramber contributed six points.

Emilee Boyer’s 13 points would lead the scoring for the Tigers.

On the boy’s side, two 20 point performances by Harrisburg would send the Tigers past Watertown 73-41.

Drew Norberg led the Arrow scoring attack with 19 points on six of 15 shooting from the field, six of seven from the charity stripe, and grabbed four boards. Devon Lewis would add six points off the bench.

Conner Geddes would tally 23 and Andrew Walter would add 20 points for the Tigers who shot 56 percent from the field in the game.

The Arrow boys fall to 3-8 and travel to Sioux Falls Roosevelt on February 2nd. The Arrow girls drop to 2-10 and come home to face Sioux Falls Roosevelt on February 2nd. Girls game will be heard on New Country KS93 while the boys game will be found on 950 KWAT.
