BBB: DeSmet overcomes cold night shooting to defeat Flandreau

FLANDREAU, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Cody Cavanaugh and Tory Holland sealed the deal at the line and DeSmet overcame a cold night shooting to down Flandreau 62-53.

Holland would tally 15 points on the night on four of eight shooting from the field, and six of seven from the charity stripe. Cavanaugh added nine points and would go four of five from the line. Kalen Gary would led the Bulldog scoring attack with 21 points and would go 11 of 12 from the line. Gary would also grab 11 boards. Rett Osthus would add 10 points.

Tash Lunday would led the scoring for the Flyers with 20 points.

Flandreau drops to 10-5 and remains home to face Clark/Willow Lake on February 13th. Number one DeSmet improves to 15-1 and travels to Wolsey-Wessington February 11th.
