ARLINGTON, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Arlington escaped with a victory over Deuel Tuesday night by a final of 59-58 in high school boys basketball action.
Four Cardinals scored in double figures lead by Caden Letsche with 17 points, going both five of 10 from the field and the three-point line. Ryker Erstad would contribute 13 points and steal the ball six times, Chris Wallace and Mason Bunker would add 12 points each.
Three Cardinals lead the scoring column with Layton Eide leading all scorers tallying 19 points on six of 14 shooting from the field and three of five from three-point land. Zane Bingham added 13 and Cooper Schiernbeck contributed 10.
Deuel falls to 3-4 and comes back home to face Britton-Hecla on January 14th. Arlington improves to 4-2 and remains home to face Elkton-Lake Benton on January 15th.
