YANKTON, S.D.—The South Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of a man killed in a collision with a semi seven miles west of Yankton.

Sixty eight year-old Robert Schulte of Tabor was at the wheel of a car that ran through a stop sign at an intersection on South Dakota Highway 50 and collided with a semi hauling gravel.

It happened Monday morning.

Schulte was dead at the scene.

The semi driver, 79 year-old Thomas Thompson of Yankton, sustained serious, non life-threatening injuries.
