Authorities identify pilot who crashed small plane near West Fargo Municipal Airport

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – An Omaha, Nebraska man who was seriously hurt when he crashed a small place near the West Fargo airport Tuesday afternoon has been identified.
Jeffrey Kloster was hospitalized in Fargo after the crash.
The state patrol says Kloster had just left the airport when the plane struck treetops and crashed into a soybean field. It took fire crews about 40 minutes to free Kloster from the wreckage. Fire Chief Dan Fuller says it appeared Kloster suffered serious leg injuries and possible internal injuries.
The FAA will lead the investigation into the cause of the crash.
