As spring arrives, so does more snow

ABERDEEN, S.D.–Today is officially the first day of spring. It arrives at 4:24 p.m., which should mean improving weather.

That does not appear to be the case in South Dakota. Forecaster say another weather system will move through Tuesday and Wednesday bringing more snow to areas that have already been dealing with wintry weather for five months.

Tomorrow’s system will bring up to two inches of snow to the Watertown area, and more to the north. Aberdeen and Sisseton could see up to five inches. Britton six inches.

Eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota are under a Winter Storm Watch, where up to seven inches of snow could fall.
