WATERTOWN, S.D.–You should see artificial turf going down this week in the middle of the Allen Mitchell Field construction site in Watertown….
Superintendent Dr. Jeff Danielsen tells KWAT News they could get the new track built and finished up before the snow flies…
This first phase of construction could set the stage for an eventual phase two, which would involve moving varsity football games from Watertown Stadium to Allen Mitchell Field…
Danielsen says they’ve got more fundraising work to do before the school board can vote on phase two of the project.
