Arrows wrap season with win at Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Watertown Arrows wrapped up their regular season Thursday night with a win over Aberdeen Central.  Set scores of 25-17, 26-24, 25-13.

Leading the way serving was Sophie Tietz, going 14 of 15 with three aces. Jadyn Hoftiezer would go 10 of 10 with one ace and Siri Kranz  12 of 12 from the serving line.

On the attack, Maggie Heesch would tally 13 kills, Tietz with 10, Meghan Heggelund, nine and Mckenzie Buisker with seven.

Defensively, Kranz would account for 13 digs in 14 attempts, Hoftiezer eight in nine attempts and Tietz nine digs in eleven attempts.

It was a good night for the lower levels as JV (25-11, 25-22), Sophomores (25-12, 27-23) and Freshman A (22-25, 25-19, 15-13) would all come away with victories.  Freshman B (21-25, 23-25) would fall to the Golden Eagles.

The lower levels would also wrap their seasons last night with Freshman B going 3-14, Freshman A 11-6, Sophomores 13-4 and JV 15-2.

The Arrow varsity wrap their year with a record of 24-2 and look to be the one seed going into the Class AA SoDak 16 to be played November 14th.
