Arrows triumph over Governors

PIERRE, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Watertown Arrows came away with a victory Tuesday night at Pierre, 3-0.  Set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-15.

Maggie Heesch would lead the way serving going 16 of 19 with three aces.  Siri Kranz would tally 15 of 15 good serves with one ace.

On the attack, Sophie Tietz would rack up eleven kills, Heesch with seven and Meghan Heggelund with six. Alexx Bayles would total 26 ace assists.

Defensively, Kranz and Delaney Heller would account for 13 digs each.

The lower levels would struggle as JV (22-25, 25-21, 15-10) would come away with the win but Freshman A (20-25, 26-28) Freshman B (24-26, 25-21) and Sophomores (24-26, 21-25) would all fall to the Governors.
