Arrows Tie For Fourth; Mahowald Cards An Ace
MITCHELL, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Arrow boys golf team would walk away with a tie for fourth place on Friday at the Mitchell Invitational held at Lake View Golf Course.
Watertown would card a 313, tied with Brandon Valley for fourth place. Sioux Falls Lincoln would take the invite with a team scores of 299.
Cayden Paulson would lead all Arrow golfers with a 77, tied for 14th place. Jake Olson would card a 78, Drew Norberg 79, Sam Mahowald, 79, Gavin Hibbert, 87, Jaxon Engstrom, 88
Mahowald would also card a hole-in-one on the day.
The Arrows come home on Tuesday to host their own invitational at Watertown Municipal and Cattail Crossing. Aberdeen Central, Aberdeen Roncalli, Brookings, Flandreau, Harrisburg, Huron, Milbank, Mitchell, Pierre, Sioux Valley and Sisseton will all take part in the invite.
