WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Both Watertown Arrow basketball teams came away with wins vs Brookings on Friday during senior night.

The Arrow boys defeated the Bobcats 66-52.  Watertown was led by Evan Falconer who netted 15 points, grabbed three boards and was a perfect eight of eight from the charity stripe.  Brandon Smith and Kale Stevenson each contributed 11 points.  Smith grabbed five boards and shot three of five from the field while Stevenson shot three of six from the field and three of five from three point land.

Brookings was led by Nick Schefers with 17 points.

The Bobcats would lead 35-33 at the half but Watertown would outscore Brookings in the second half, 33-17.

The Arrow girls would come away with their third win on the year, the second win this season over Brookings, 50-36.

Maggie Heesch would lead all scores with 25 points going 11 of 13 from the line.  Abby Bramer contributed eight points and Jaida Young tallied six.

Brookings was led by Johanna Miller with 16 points.

Despite shooting 31 percent in the game, Watertown would get it done at the line going 17 of 26 good for 65 percent on the night.

The Watertown boys (8-9) and girls travel to Brandon Valley Saturday for a 4 and 5:30 p.m. tip.  Todd Enderson will have coverage on 950 KWAT and GoWatertown.net.
