PIERRE, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Watertown Arrows would split their doubleheader at Pierre Friday night.

On the girls side, the Governors would come away with a 57-47 victory.

Watertown was led by Maggie Heesch with 18 points, 10 boards and would go 9-13 from the charity stripe. Abby Bramber would tally 11 points, Devyn Keller, Maddy Rohde and Jaids Young would contribute four points a piece.

On the boys side Watertown would come away with a 55-49 win over Pierre.

The Arrows were led by Brandon Smith with 23 points going 9 of 13 from the line and 5 of 9 from three point land. Cooper Heiser and Mason Morris would add ten points a piece. Evan Falconer would add eight.

The Watertown boys (2-2) and girls (0-4) head to Rapid City to face Stevens at 2 and 3:30 p.m Saturday. Todd Enderson will have coverage on 950 KWAT with video at GoWatertown.net
