Arrows open season with two wins at home tri

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Arrow Wrestling would open up their season with two wins at their home tri Thursday night.

The Arrows would down Yankton 66-12.  Sloan Johannsen (106), Nathan Briggs (113), Connor Hanson (120), Carson Hansmann (132), Owen Spartz (138), Ian Johnson (145), Ben Althoff (152), Mac Young (160), Lexan Thorson (170), Quincy Kuhlman (195) and Connor Wirtjes (220) would all come away with victories.

In match two of the night, Watertown would defeated Beresford/Alcester-Hudson 64-15.  Sloan Johannsen (106), Nathan Briggs (113), Connor Hanson (120), Mason Krause (126), Carson Hansmann (132), Owen Spartz (138), Ben Althoff (152), Lexan Thorson (170), Tyler Rudebusch (182), Connor Wirtjes (220) and Ben Griffin (285) would come away victorious.

Watertown (2-0) hosts a dual tournament this Saturday at the Watertown Civic Arena.
