Arrows knock out number one Yankton

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Hot three point shooting would help Watertown defeat number one Yankton 54-53 Friday night at the Civic Area.
This is the second time this year Watertown has defeated the number one team in South Dakota.
The Arrows would have a hot night from three point land going 11 of 24. Individually for Watertown Dawson Schmidt would lead the charge with 11 points, going four of nine from the field and sinking two of four from beyond the arc. Evan Falconer would add ten points, going two of six from three point line and grabbing seven boards. Cooper Heiser would contribute nine, Brandon Smith and Mason Morris would each add eight.
Trevor Fitzgerald would lead the scoring attack for Yankton with 13 points. Matthew Mors, would contribute 12 to become the all time boys class AA scoring leader breaking Eric Kline’s record of 2,025.
