Arrows goes 1-3 in duals at Rapid City Invite

RAPID CITY, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown wrestling would go 1-3 in duals at the Rapid City Invitational this past weekend.

On Friday, Watertown would come away with fourth place as a team in the Blue Pod side of the tournament with a team score of 101.0

On Saturday in dual action, Sloan Johannsen would go 4-0 for the weekend in the 106-pound category.  Weston Everson (113), Ben Althoff (152), and Mac Young (160) would go 3-1.

Saturday dual results….
The Arrows would fall to Brandon Valley 63-18. Sloan Johannsen (106), Weston Everson (113), and Mac Young (160) would be victorious.

Watertown would fall to Chamberlain 43-31.  Sloan Johannsen (106), Weston Everson (113), Braden Le (120), Cole Dowling (132), Ben Althoff (152), and Mac Young (160) would walk away winners.

Rapid City Stevens would defeat Watertown 60-17.  Sloan Johannsen (106), Ben Althoff (152), and Brock Eitreim would come away champions.

Watertown would earn the win by criteria over Milbank, 42-42.  Sloan Johannsen (106), Weston Everson (113), Mason Krause (126), Ian Johnson (145), Ben Althoff (152), Mac Young (160), and Brock Eitreim (182) would earn the victories.

Watertown (7-3) travels to Brookings Thursday, December 17th for dual action.
