BRANDON, S.D. ( — The Watertown Arrows would go 5-0 at the East/West Tournament Friday and Saturday in Brandon.

The Arrows would start thing out Friday with a 2-0 win vs Rapid City Central.  Set scores of 25-14, 25-16. Jadyn Hoftiezer would lead the way from the line going 12 of 12 with three aces and Siri Kranz would go 8 of 8 with two aces.  On the attack, Meghan Heggelund would go 17 or 19 with eight kills, Sophie Tietz 10 of 13 with six kills and Maggie Heesch, 11 of 12 with 6 kills.

In match two on Friday, the Arrows would down Sturgis 2-0.  Set scores of 25-13, 25-13.  Alexx Bayles would go 12 of 12 from the serving line and Kranz 8 of 8 with two aces.  Hoftiezer would lead the way defensively with 3 digs and Anna Johnson and Heesch would each tally two digs.

The Arrows would down Douglas in the last match on Friday, 2-0.  Set scores of 25-10, 25-9.  Bayles would lead the way servin going 8 of 9 with three aces and Delaney Heller 11 of 14 with two aces. On the attack, Addy Gabreiel and McKenzie Buisker would lead the way with four kills each. Defensively, Kranz would account for five digs.

In game one on Saturday, Watertown would keep rolling with a 2-0 victory over Spearfish.  Set scores of 25-13. 25-17. Tietz, Heller and Oliva Corey would each account for three aces each from the line.  Tietz would also lead the way on the attack with six kills, Heegelund and Heesch would each tally five kills a piece. Tietz would lead the way defensively in the game with six digs.

The Arrows would wrap up the East/West Tournament with a 2-0 victory over Rapid City Stevens.  Set scores of 25-18, 25-12.  Bayles would go 12 of 13 from the line with three aces.  Heegelund would account for 8 kills on the attack and Kranz would rack up 12 digs defensively.
