Arrows conclude year with losses at Huron

HURON, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Both Watertown Arrow basketball teams would fall at Huron Friday night. The boys would fall 65-47 while the girls fell 82-50.
The Arrow guys would be led by Brandon Smith with 15 points, going six of 12 from the field and two of two from the line. Evan Falconer would contribute 12 and Dawsome Schmidt would add seven.
The Tigers were led by Teegan Evers with 13.
The Arrows would shoot 36 percent from the field in the game compared to the Tigers 42 percent.
Megan Fannin led the Arrow girls with 13 points, going nine of 12 from the charity stripe. Abby Bramer would add 11.
Huron was led by Havyn Heinz with 26. The Tigers would steal the ball 11 times in the contest. Watertown would turn over the ball 16 times.
The Watertown girls wrap up their year with a record of 3-17 and the Watertown boys conclude their season with a record of 9-11. Both await their opponents for the SoDak 16 next week.
