BRANDON, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Softball was swept by Brandon Valley on Thursday. Game one 6-5 and game two 7-4.

Jade Lund would lead the Arrows in game one with two hits and a double. Brooklyn Gronau would pitch four innings and throw three strikeouts, three walks, and committing one error. Jade Lund would pitch game two and throw one strike, one walk and commit three errors. Macee Osthus and Lily Pressler would drop down two hits.

“It was nice to see the girls come out and play two strong games against a solid team, said Coach Travis Young.” “We are a young team, the girls are still trying to figure out who they are and there roll on the team.”

Watertown Softball has its home opener this Monday night at Koch Complex. The first pitches are 6 and 7:30 p.m. Free admission to the game.
