Arrow girls fall to number one O’Gorman

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Watertown Arrow girls basketball team would fall to number one Sioux Falls O’Gorman Saturday afternoon 56-36.

Maggie Heesch would lead the Arrows with a double double, 16 points and 10 boards. Megan Fannin would return from injury and tally 13 points and 5 grabs.

The Arrows would shoot 27% from inside the arc in the game compared to the Knights 49%. However, the purple and gold would out rebound O’Gorman 33-20.

Watertown (0-7) comes home January 16th to for a doubleheader with Brandon Valley. Girls game tips at 6 p.m. with the boys to follow at 7:30 p.m. Todd Enderson will have coverage on 950 KWAT with video at GoWatertown.net.
