All four Watertown Sox teams to open state tournament play this week

(GoWatertown.net) — All four Watertown Sox teams will begin state tournament play this week.

The Class A 13U State Tournament begins today (Thursday) in Brookings. Watertown Grey Sox will play in the red pool and will open the tournament against Yankton at 5 p.m., then face Huron on Friday at noon and Mitchell at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Also beginning today (Thursday) is the 14U Class A State Tournament being held in Pierre. Watertown Black Sox will play in the red pool and open the tournament against Brookings in the opening round at 6:30 p.m., then face Rapid City 320 at 10:30 a.m. Friday and Renner at Noon Saturday.

Watertown will host the 16U State A Tournament through July 31st. The host Watertown Red Sox will open Red Pool Play tonight at 7:30 p.m. against Sioux Falls West, face Renner at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Huron at 6 p.m. Saturday. All Watertown games will be held at Watertown Stadium.

The Class A 13/14U State Tournament will begin Friday at Harrisburg. Watertown White Sox will play in the red bracket open pool play against Yankton at 5 p.m.
