Alcohol compliance checks conducted in and around Watertown

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Alcohol compliance checks were held in and around Watertown on Wednesday.
They were conducted jointly by Watertown police and Codington County deputies.
In the city, three of the five businesses that were checked passed. They were Cowboy #2 Liquor, 81 Liquors and Discount Liquors.
Businesses in the city limits that failed the check by selling to an underage customer were Cowboy #3 Liquor and Dakota Butcher West.
In the county, the Rooster Bar passed the compliance check, while 212 One Stop in Henry failed.
The employees that sold alcohol to underage buyers were issued a citation.
