WATERTOWN, S.D.–There’s a committee in Watertown that works on behalf of people with disabilities, and right now, they’ve got their sights on creating a park that will be more user-friendly for people with physical and mental disabilities.
Committee member and Councilman Dan Albertsen talked about it at Monday night’s city council meeting….
The Terry that Albertsen referenced is Terry Kelly, Watertown’s Parks and Recreation superintendent.
The Mayor’s Committee for People with Disabilities was established in Watertown in 2003. Committee members include those with disabilities.
