WATERTOWN, S.D.—The weather is going to take on a definite wintry look and feel across northeast South Dakota this week.

National Weather Service forecaster Dan Doering says we’ll see light snow in the region today (Monday). Accumulations will only be around a half-inch.

The more accumulating snow will fall tonight into Tuesday…

And there will be more snow chances as we go through the week…

Cold enough that any snow that does fall…..will stick….

Doering says they may have to issue some sort of winter weather advisory for west-central Minnesota, where snow amounts could be in the five inch range.
