ABERDEEN, S.D.—Aberdeen police arrested five people Wednesday morning after executing search warrants at three residences in that city.

 

It was the result of a months long investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine.

 

During the search warrants, officers found drug paraphernalia, a firearm and cell phones they believe are tied to drug trade.

 

They arrested 34 year-old April Paw, 33 year-old Taw Taw, 31 year-old Mar Soe Bi, 27 year-old Lay Htoo and 26 year-old Moo Pway Doh Htoo, all of Aberdeen.

 

Police say additional arrests and charges are anticipated.
