Big Stone hot streak to continue into Class B Tournament

GROTON, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Big Stone City will begin play today at the Class B Legion Tournament in Groton on a hot streak.
Post 229 will come into the state tournament with a record of 8-14 after upsetting the top seeds in the Region 1B tournament. Coach Joel Stattelman says his team came together at the right time:
The Badgers will open the tournament today against a familiar opponent, Tabor. Coach Stattelman says his team is going into the tournament with their confidence high in their level of play:
First pitch is at 10 a.m. this morning (Friday).
