WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — A nine RBI day for Cole Holden would send Watertown Post 17 past Renner Post 307 number two twice on Monday.

Down, 7-1 going into the bottom of the seventh inning, Watertown would come back and tie up the game on a Cole Holden two-RBI single:

Renner would hit Dawson Schmidt to send in the winning run 8-7.  Holden would end game one with one hit and two RBI’s.  Dawson Schmidt would go the distance in the third inning and wind up with four hits and three RBI’s.  Easton Thury would go five innings, throwing 99 pitches for five hits, five runs, one earned six strikeouts and walking four.
A seven RBI night for Holden would send Watertown past Renner 14-4 in game two.  Holden would hit a grand slam to end the game in the sixth inning on the ten-run rule:

Andrew Czech would go five and two-thirds innings throwing 107 pitches for nine hits, four runs, two strikeouts, and walk four.
