Watertown Planning Commission hears report on proposed development of Harmony Hill property  (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown Planning Commission met Thursday and heard a report on plans for a major development on what’s known as the Harmony Hill property on the city’s south side.

The project is the wishes of the Benedictine Sisters. It would encompass 500 acres and be done in four phases.

It’s being billed as a state-of-the art senior living community that will offer a variety of independent living options along rehabilitation services, assisted living, memory care, skilled care and hospice care.

Mark Boehlke is a Senior Planner with Appleton, Wisconsin-based Hoffman Planning and Design, and has been working with the Sisters on the project….
