#1 Arrows defeat #4 Rough Riders

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — In a battle of top ranked teams, the number one ranked Watertown Arrows came way victorious over number four ranked Sioux Falls Roosevelt, 3-1.  Set scores of 24-26, 25-23, 25-12, 31-29.

Siri Kranz would lead the way serving going 21 of 21 with three aces, Sophie Tietz, 14/14 with 3 aces, Maggie Heesch 15/16 with two aces and Alexx Bayles 18/19 with one ace.

On the attack Megan Heggelund would rack up 17 kills, Tietz, 14, Heesch, 12 and Mckenzie Buisker with 13.

Defensively, Delaney Heller would tally 24 digs in 28 attempts and Kranz 17 in 22 attempts.

In the lower level, Freshman A (27-25, 25-18), Sophomores, (25-18, 25-21) and JV (25-15, 25-23) would all come away with victories.  Freshman B (10-25, 23-25) would fall to the Rough Riders.

Watertown (15-1) travels to Pierre next Tuesday night.
