South Dakota Farmers Union members in Washington D.C. for National Farmer’s Union Fly In (Audio)




WASHINGTON, D.C.–Twenty-eight South Dakota Farmers Union members are in Washington DC this week for the National Farmers Union’s Fly In.  


President Doug Sombke says there are many concerns in farm country…



He says crop insurance tweaks need to be made in the next farm bill to help farmers hurt by low commodity prices.



Sombke says expanding Medicare could be one of the keys to improving rural health care.



The Legislative Fly In runs thru Wednesday.
